What Happens if 30dps Underestimates a Task?

The Story Point model is intended to give clients predictable costs.

If an agreed task requires more effort than 30dps estimated, the client is not automatically billed additional points simply because the estimate was low.

This places responsibility for accurate estimation on 30dps rather than turning every unexpected complication into an additional invoice.
