The Story Point system: Your currency for growth

Instead of billable hours that encourage slow work or fixed bids that punish innovation, we use Story Points—a transparent value system that aligns our success with yours.

What's a Story Point? A unit of value that accounts for:

Q: Why monthly retainers instead of fixed project pricing?

Our monthly pricing gives you more long‑term value. Fixed projects lock you into a roadmap based on assumptions made before work starts. With monthly Story Points, every sprint is backed by real data—so you don’t pay for outdated plans or endless change orders.
Q: What if my budget doesn't match these tiers?
A:

These are starting points, not take-it-or-leave-it prices. We've structured engagements at different investment levels depending on scope, timeline, and what a business actually needs. If you're serious about growth and have a budget in mind, we'll tell you honestly what's achievable. Book a call—worst case, you'll leave with clarity on your options.

Q: Can we pause or reduce our engagement?
A:
After your minimum commitment, yes. Adjust with 30 days written notice. Many clients scale up and down based on business cycles.
Q: What if we need more work some months?
A:
Purchase additional Story Points for that month. Many clients do this for launches, campaigns, or opportunities.
Q: How do we know what gets done each month?
A:
We plan sprints together. You approve Story Point allocation before work begins. Full transparency, no surprises.
Q: Is this more expensive than project pricing?
A:
No. Initially similar, but long-term much better value. And you don't have to worry about unexpected cost increases due to scope changes and change orders. You get continuous improvement vs. a static deliverable. 
Q: Can we split payments?

We offer several payment options:

Rush Story Points available at 1.5x standard rate for true unforseen emergencies.
Q: Can I roll over unused Story Points?
A:
Up to 20% can roll over from month to month. This prevents "use it or lose it" pressure while ensuring consistent progress.
Q: What if scope dramatically shifts mid-engagement?
A:
After initial engagement, yes. Maintenance blocks available at $200/hour, minimum 10 hours/month.
Q: How do you handle budget overruns?
A:
They don't happen. Story Points are fixed monthly. If we underestimate, that's our problem, not yours.
Q: Is there a setup or onboarding fee?
A:
No. Everything is included in monthly Story Points.
