Our journey: four eras of digital evolution

Era 1: The Teachers (1990-1994)

Creating rich multimedia before most even knew what it was.

Originally focused on the development of technology solutions for the education market, we were doing cutting edge stuff that most didn't even know was possible.

We developed multimedia productions for education, as well as products for educators and administrators. We produced a product for allowing children to create their own multimedia productions, before there was such a thing as PowerPoint.

We eventually began to show advertising and marketing companies how to use the technology as powerful presentations. Always, our attention was on the effective use of technology to educate and inform.

Legacy of Era 1: Deep technical foundation that prepared us for Era 2, and excitement for advancements in technology.


Era 2: The Builders (1995-2000)

When every website was custom code

Long before WordPress themes and drag-and-drop builders, we were hand-coding websites in Notepad. Every site was custom. Every solution was invented. Every project taught us something new. We then employed our multimedia skills to producing highly interactive Flash websites that rocked!

But we also learned that beautiful doesn't always convert. That clever doesn't always communicate. That what clients want and what customers need are often different things. We eventually developed our own content management system that was so robust and user friendly, that (believe it or not) we still have clients using it to this day.

Legacy of Era 2: A passion for building online engines that effectively told a story, and the value of giving clients the ability to manage their own content (and destiny), whether they chose to do so or not.


Era 3: The Dreamers (2001-2023)

When we found our platform

When we realized that we had a better handle on where online technologies were going our than marketing and advertising agency friends, we decided it was time for yet another shift. We became among the first "new media" agencies in the Colorado front range, and changed our name to 30dps. After 9/11, we strayed a bit, and became more of a full-service agency for a few years.

We could have stayed generalists, building on a dozen platforms. Instead, in 2015, we went deep on one: HubSpot. Why? Because we saw that disconnected tools were killing business growth. Companies needed integration, not more isolation.

We became HubSpot partners. Then experts. Then innovators, building apps and pushing the platform beyond its intended limits. Our clients started calling us "HubSpot Gurus" and it stuck.

When AI changed everything

2024 was our latest pivot point. We saw AI transforming how businesses operate and realized most companies were completely unprepared. In 2024, HubSpot came out with some nifty AI features. Internally, AI was becoming an important part of our team. 

When in 2025, HubSpot rolled out a massive number of powerful new AI features— features that could transform companies into growth machines—we evolved from implementers to architects—from building websites to building growth systems—from HubSpot Gurus to HubSpot AI Growth Architects
