As part of its instructional past, 30dps has developed a number of training products that are used in professional and academic settings. One of the enormous benefits of multimedia in instruction is that is appeals to the varied learning styles of the students.
Good multimedia instruction will take advantage of this power and produces instruction that does more than present scrolling text fields and pretty pictures. Rather, good instructional materials will utilize the strengths of each medium and with strategic redundancy, present information using more than one technique, allowing all students an opportunity to learn.

training CD-ROM and
Web site.
This CD-ROM based training program has two major goals: 1) to improve the ability of genetic counselors & genetic counseling students to counsel for common psych- iatric diseases, 2) to provide genetic counselors and students with a framework for complex disorders that can be applied to a wide array of disorders with genetic components. Through the use of animation and video, the student will be exposed to the curriculum in a non-linear and interactive way. The student is challenged to employ a critical thinking process as they are engaged in the curriculum.
The Teaching with Space online graduate-level coursework is designed to teach middle school educators how to use the Space Foundation's curriculum to teach math and science in the classroom. It is accredited through the Space Foundation and NASA. The Space Foundation plans to develop courses for both high school and university level educators as well. As educators make their way through the curriculum, they receive lesson plans and animated lab experiments to use in the classroom. Upon completion of the course, the educators receive a certificate from the Space Foundation and NASA.
